Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification
Cleaning professionals who use CRI approved equipment and cleaning chemicals as part of their routine procedures may participate as a partner in the Seal of Approval program. The program and seal are only obtained by adhering to a strict adherence to using only SOA products and equipment and customer satisfaction.
The folowing information outlines the requirements of the ceritfication
Program requirements
- Uphold the “Basic Principles of Consumer Satisfaction”.
- Comply with the “Code of Conduct”
- Warrant that they will use exclusively SOA product/equipment.
- The Service Provider shall ensure customer satisfaction by cleaning, and/or maintaining in accordance with carpet manufacturer’s instructions.
- Demonstrate their commitment to the program by signing the “Participation Agreement”.
- Fulfill responsibilities as defined in the “Basic Principles of Consumer Satisfaction.”
- Operate in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and ordinances.
- Be responsible for the workmanship of the services provided.
- Utilize exclusively SOA products and equipment where CRI categories exist.

An authorized bearer of the CRI “ Seal of Approval” agrees to uphold the following consumer satisfaction provisions:
